Through great marketing, Converse shoes influenced young high school athletes to pick up basketball, after which the brand's popularity started soaring. Fast forward to the 1960s, Converse men's shoes were sported by a majority of college players and professional basketball players in the NBA. Eventually, these shoes transcended into being a lifestyle icon with popular faces from Hollywood and the music industry rocking Converse sneakers. Although the classic Chuck Taylor All-Star sneakers fit have always been unisex, many Converse women’s shoes began to appear that had a peculiar design that catered to women only with feminine colour combinations and design.
